Position Summary: Ensures the well being of program participants and promotes their development. A key component of this job is to assist all individuals in their social, emotional, educational and recreational development in a manner which ensures their increased independence and inclusion in the community.
Qualifications: Community Support Worker Certificate, University Degree, or relevant experience in the field.
Experience: Experience working with people with developmental disabilities an asset.
Wage Rate: $15.23/hour plus 10.2% in lieu of stat holidays and vacation.
Hours of Work: Variable

Program: Supported Employment Services
Position Summary: Supports clients with developmental disabilities to find and keep paid employment. Involves providing assistance with development of employability skills, job development and job coaching at employment sites. Includes liaison with employers and caregivers.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in career counseling, social work, education or a related field. Must be prepared to use own vehicle for work purposes (reimbursed at .41c per kilometer).
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in employment counseling preferred. Experience working with people with developmental disabilities an asset. Wage Rate: $16.27 per hour, 35 hours per week. Benefits package after completion of 3 month probation.
Hours of Work: Generally Monday through Friday, 8.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m., but does require flexibility as some evening and weekend work will be required.
